About the Instructor

Haroon Khan, CPA, CA (Canada), CPA (Illinois, USA)

Haroon Khan is a seasoned tax professional with over 15 years of experience, having held positions at leading accounting firms, including the Big 4, where he served as a Senior Tax Manager and Tax Partner. Currently, he serves as a tax partner in Toronto, specializing in CCPCs and private and public corporations, with expertise in cross-border U.S./Canadian tax. In addition to his corporate roles, he has supported many fellow CPAs by sharing his expertise in tax and accounting through educational initiatives such as htkacademy.com and cpdhours.com. He is also actively instructing various professional organizations, including the CPA Canada In-Depth Tax Program, CPA Canada Professional Education Program, and CPA Ontario Professional Development Program. Furthermore, he teaches MBA and BBA students at the Schulich School of Business. In recognition of his contributions to both the profession and society, he was acknowledged as a 2023 CPA Ontario Emerging Leader.
